Services

At Portland Physical Therapy and Fitness, your recovery, movement, and performance are our priorities. We offer a full range of treatments to help you return to your normal routine safely and effectively.

Whether you’re dealing with pain, recovering from an injury or surgery, or working through mobility challenges, our goal is to help you get back to doing what you enjoy—with strength and confidence. We’re here to support you every step of the way, whether you’re in pain, healing, or simply aiming to move better.

We can help you get back on track if you’re dealing with pain, stiffness, or limited movement caused by an old injury, poor posture, or everyday stress. Each session is a collaborative process where we work with you to improve joint mobility, build muscle strength, and enhance movement control. Treatment may include hands-on techniques and targeted exercises designed to restore normal function and support long-term recovery.

Recent or unresolved sports injuries, including sprains, strains, or tendon issues, can interfere with daily activities and physical performance. We begin by assessing the injury, reducing inflammation and pain, and guiding you through a recovery plan tailored to your needs. The goal is to restore function, correct movement patterns, prevent re-injury, and help you return to your sport or exercise routine with confidence.

Many people experience chronic pain or delayed healing after an injury or surgery. Class IV laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that can help reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and promote faster healing. It works by delivering targeted energy deep into soft tissue, supporting quicker recovery without the need for medication or invasive procedures.

Pelvic floor weakness or dysfunction can result from conditions such as pelvic pain, urinary leakage, or discomfort after childbirth. We provide therapy focused on improving muscle control, reducing pain, and restoring normal pelvic function. All treatment is offered in a private, supportive environment.

Many people are unaware of how their body uses energy, which can make it difficult to manage weight, boost energy levels, or enhance athletic performance. Metabolic testing provides data on how your body burns calories, both at rest and during physical activity. This information helps guide decisions about exercise, nutrition, and recovery strategies tailored to your individual needs.

Your First Visit: What to Expect

From your first visit, we focus on a personalized, hands-on approach to support your recovery. Here’s what each session typically includes:

  • 1-Hour Evaluation: Your first session includes a thorough review of your medical history, a movement assessment, and a physical exam to identify the root cause of your symptoms.
  • Same-Day Treatment: Treatment begins on the first day. This may involve manual therapy, guided exercises, or mobility work to reduce pain and improve function.
  • Home Exercise Program: You’ll receive a clear, easy-to-follow plan to continue your progress between sessions.
  • One-on-One Care: Each session is provided by your licensed physical therapist—no aides or assistants—ensuring focused and consistent care throughout your treatment.

Dr. Evan Price

Physical Therapist

Evan’s home is in Vancouver, WA, having moved here from southern Ohio. After attending Ohio Northern University to receive his Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology, he continued his DPT education at the University of Dayton. Shortly after spending time in Bangalore, India, volunteering in multiple medical locations, he moved to Colorado for a short while before settling in the Pacific Northwest and honing his skills as a coach, DPT, and endurance sports enthusiast.

Evan grew up around endurance sports—his mother completed multiple ultra marathons and Ironmans, while his father’s passion for the history of the Tour de France sparked his love for cycling and racing.

After one year of soccer at Ohio Northern, he shifted gears to focus on the sport of triathlon. Racing grew into the drive to coach, and now, after three years of racing professional triathlon on the Ironman North American circuit, he has finally found a way to blend his lifelong love for triathlon into his career as well.

Evan is the president of the triathlon club under “Dialed Cycling” in Vancouver, WA—one of the biggest teams in the state. He also volunteers and paces for the local youth Whisper Running program.

Evan specializes in multiple sports injuries, including all lower extremity endurance sports-related issues and post-op ACL, from the surgery table back to the field. As a swimmer, he also enjoys treating overhead athletes, including throwers and high-level or beginner aquatic athletes. Coaching and endurance sports consultations are also services that he provides at this time.
